Mohnish Mohanty:
Co-founder & CEO

Mohnish has always been an innovator. He started a tutoring business back in high school and he’s been driven by what’s next ever since. After early consulting roles at Deloitte and Accenture, he found his calling in product management — by literally knocking on the doors of product leaders to ask what the job really entailed. One of those doors belonged to the CPO of DocuSign, where Mohnish ended up joining the team and leading through its IPO process.

Andy Wu:
Co-founder & CRO

Andy knows firsthand the pain of manual contract work. Early in his long career in financial services, he spent many hours buried in financial filings, lease agreements, and loan docs: what he jokingly calls being “a victim of paperwork”. That frustration pushed him to leave the industry and bring his entrepreneurial drive to the tech world, where he joined Leverton — an early innovator using AI to simplify contract analysis, well before AI became a buzzword.

That intellectual drive has stayed with Mohnish, with contract management at the center. After helping various B2B companies scale and innovate, he began wondering: What would it look like to build smarter operations from scratch? Who could he build with to truly reimagine the future? That question became Intelizen, and a thriving partnership with Andy. 

Today, Mohnish leads Intelizen with the same traits that got him here: curiosity, resourcefulness, and a belief in transformative ideas. He’s focused on rethinking how businesses operate, designing intelligent AI systems that solve real problems and, most importantly, resonate with the people who use them.

When Leverton was acquired by MRI Software, Andy kept going, helping enterprise companies grow and scale; he launched and shaped a second solution focused on form-based document intelligence, leading global partnerships and go-to-market efforts for the company. Along the way, he realized two things: first, most contract solutions still relied way too much on manual review. Second, he thrived in early-stage environments where momentum and product-building came first. 

That drive is what brought him to Intelizen. It’s what led him to team up with Mohnish and ultimately rethink contract intelligence from the ground up, combining years of industry experience with modern AI to build the kind of product he always wished for.

Together, they bring a complementary mix of product innovation and leadership,

with a shared desire to improve how companies operate through their combined experience and technical insight. They founded Intelizen in 2023 with a simple belief: the real value in agreements lives in the deep, often overlooked data. Not just the signatures, but the substance. Without structure and intelligence to surface and make sense of that data, contracts become a source of chaos instead of clarity — and that’s no way to run a business. Intelizen was built to fix that, and bring order to contract chaos.

When Mohnish and Andy aren’t busy shaping what’s next for Intelizen, they can be found debating song choices for the Intelizen Tunez playlist, a light hearted reminder that great partnerships, like music, works best when everyone’s in sync. It’s the same spirit Intelizen was founded on: being the teammate that brings cohesion and clarity to every deal.
